The natural heritage of the Medes Islands


The small archipelago of the Medes Islands (21.5 ha), consisting of seven islets and some reefs, located about a mile short of the ampordanish coast Montgrí massif -which is part of geologically - extremely valuable biological and ecological range of species and environments. Of great scientific interest, is set in a landscape of great beauty, unique in Catalonia.
